Gibbs Sports Amphibians is breaking new ground in the development of high speed amphibians. This company strives to make their vehicles excel across a wide variety of terrain & conditions, and transition between land & water seamlessly. Whilst their latest innovations are still to break cover, they have shared some of the innovations that have made the Quadski the benchmark amongst high speed amphibians. Pictured here is the Quadski in action.


The Quadski's powered by BMW's K1300 engine. On water, it uses the GIBBS patented water jet propulsion system, while attaining speeds of upto 45mph on both marine and land modes.

Why did I pick this product among the ones available?
I can see that this product can be used in some capacity with the military. It can act as a patrol vehicle, capable of deployment in densely forested areas as well as places with a lot of water resources, without having to change vehicles.
The most obvious use I can see is its use by lifeguards and rescue teams. Lifeguards have to respond as quickly as possible to life threatening emergencies and this vehicle can only aid to their good work. Capable of transforming from a quad bike to a jetski in about 4 seconds, rescuing and bringing endangered lives to the safety of the land will be much easier on the quadski.
